Refund Policy
Refund Policy
Effective Date: March 23, 2026
This Refund Policy explains how refunds work on GamerMart, the digital goods marketplace at gamermart.gg. By using our platform, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
1. Nature of Digital Goods
GamerMart is a marketplace for digital goods, including game accounts, in-game items, in-game currency, and boosting services. Due to the nature of digital goods, which can be delivered and consumed instantly, traditional return-and-refund processes do not apply. Once a digital product has been delivered and verified, the transaction is generally considered final.
2. Our Refund Commitment
Despite the inherent challenges of refunding digital goods, GamerMart is committed to fair outcomes for buyers. If you do not receive what was described in a listing, or if a seller fails to deliver, you are entitled to seek a refund through our dispute process. We take every dispute seriously and review each case individually.
3. How Refunds Are Issued
All refunds on GamerMart are issued exclusively as GamerMart balance. Refunds are not returned to your original payment method (credit card, debit card, or bank account). When a refund is approved, the full purchase amount is credited back to your GamerMart balance and is available immediately for use on future purchases.
4. Why Balance-Only Refunds
GamerMart operates a balance-based payment system where buyers fund their account via Stripe and purchases are deducted from that balance. Because transactions between buyers and sellers are facilitated through this internal balance system, refunds are processed within the same system. This approach allows us to:
- Issue refunds instantly without payment processor delays.
- Avoid additional transaction fees that would reduce the refund amount.
- Ensure buyers have immediate access to their refunded funds.
- Maintain consistency and simplicity in our transaction system.
5. Dispute Process
If you believe you are entitled to a refund, follow these steps:
- Do not confirm the order as successful. Once you confirm an order, it is marked as SUCCESS and the transaction is finalized.
- Open a dispute on the order page. Clearly describe the issue — for example, the item was not delivered, the account credentials do not work, or the delivered product does not match the listing description.
- Provide evidence. Upload screenshots or other documentation that supports your claim. The more evidence you provide, the faster and more accurately we can resolve the dispute.
- Wait for admin review. A GamerMart administrator will review the dispute, examine evidence from both the buyer and seller, and issue a resolution.
- Resolution. The admin will either approve the refund (crediting your GamerMart balance) or deny the dispute if the seller fulfilled their obligations as described.
6. Eligible Refund Scenarios
Refunds may be approved in the following situations:
- Non-delivery: The seller fails to deliver the purchased goods within a reasonable timeframe.
- Incorrect delivery: The delivered item does not match the listing description (e.g., wrong game, wrong account level, missing items).
- Invalid credentials: For account purchases, if the provided login credentials do not work or the account has been recovered by the seller.
- Significant misrepresentation: The listing materially misrepresented the product being sold.
- Order cancellation: The order is cancelled before delivery is completed, either by mutual agreement or admin decision.
7. What Is NOT Refundable
Refunds will generally not be issued in the following cases:
- Confirmed orders: Orders that you have confirmed as successfully received and completed (SUCCESS status).
- Buyer's remorse: Changing your mind after a purchase, or deciding you no longer want the item, is not grounds for a refund.
- External account actions: If a game publisher bans, suspends, or modifies an account or item after successful delivery due to the buyer's actions, this is not eligible for a refund.
- Terms of service violations: If your account is terminated due to your violation of GamerMart's Terms of Service, any remaining balance (including refunded amounts) may be forfeited.
- Balance top-ups: Funds added to your GamerMart balance via Stripe are not refundable to your original payment method. Your balance can only be used for purchases on the platform.
- Disputes filed in bad faith: Fraudulent or dishonest dispute claims may result in denial and potential account suspension.
8. Use of Refunded Balance
Balance credited through refunds can be used for any future purchase on GamerMart, just like any other balance on your account. There is no expiration on refunded balance while your account remains active. Seller withdrawal eligibility is separate from buyer balance and is governed by our seller payout terms.
9. Timeframes
- Opening a dispute: You should open a dispute as soon as you identify an issue, and before confirming the order as successful.
- Admin review: We aim to review and resolve disputes within 48 hours, though complex cases may take longer.
- Refund credit: Once a refund is approved, the balance is credited to your account instantly.
10. Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback through your bank or payment provider instead of using our dispute process is a violation of our Terms of Service. Chargeback abuse may result in permanent account termination and forfeiture of any remaining balance. If you have a legitimate concern, please use our dispute process or contact us directly.
